Santanic Ritual Abuse ?

Since the mid-1970s, there have been widespread allegations of the existence of a well-organized intergenerational satanic cult whose members sexually molest, torture, and murder children across the United States. In the 1980s there was a panic regarding SRA, which was largely triggered by a fictional book called Michelle Remembers (1980) by Michelle Smith and Lawrence Pazder, M.D.

Ms Sinason, who has treated 126 ritual abuse survivors, said that in many cases children were tortured by being held under water or made to believe they had witnessed the murder of infants as part of the satanic ritual.

"Some children are born for the purpose of abuse and are not registered on birth certificates," she added. "The abusers use trickery to convince children they have taken part in murder. This increases the power of the abuser."

No hard evidence of Satanic Ritual Abuse in North America has been found. Nevertheless, the allegations were widely publicized on radio and television talk shows, especially on Geraldo Rivera's show.However, there have been many reports, journal articles, web pages and criminal convictions of these horrific crimes against children and adults.

PHYSICAL TORTURE

• Burnt with cigarettes, lit candles and hot light bulbs
• beaten on the soles of the feet

SEXUALIZED TORTURE

• A gun placed in one’s mouth, vagina, or anus and hearing the clicking sound when the trigger is pulled
• violent family/group rapes
• raped with objects – weapons, knife, broom handle, tree branches, and kitchen items
• forced to consume or be smeared with animal/human waste - vaginal fluid, sperm, blood, urine, and feces
• forced into pornography, trafficked/snuff movies
• bestiality
• forced pregnancy/abortions

MIND-SPIRIT TORTURE

• Humiliation
• degradation
• objectified
• treated like an animal
• trained to commit suicide so they never tell
• drugged
• forced to participate in cruelty/killing of pets and witness the torture of others
